Helmar Care and Community Services are proud to announce that, following a surprise inspection from industry regulators CQC, we have retained our overall rating of “Good”.
“People received safe care.”
CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They ensure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, responsive, and high-quality care.
Helmar Care is a domiciliary care agency that provides personal care and support to people living in their own homes and flats. We are committed to providing the best care possible, and as a result we have created a company ethos centred around those five qualities. This was reflected both in our overall ‘Good’ score and in our Good rating across each of the five categories reviewed during CQC inspections.
“Staff respected people’s privacy, dignity and confidentiality. People were encouraged to live as independently as possible and to make choices about their daily living.”
Helmar Care remains dedicated to providing great care and we always strive to improve, even when we are doing well! We conduct regular spot checks, audits, and people's needs are assessed and regularly reviewed to ensure they receive the appropriate level of care.
“Regular checks and audits were carried out on the quality of care and improvements made when needed. People, staff and relatives were given opportunities to share their views of the service and felt the registered manager valued their ideas”
